CODAP Workshops for Teachers

I was asked this question in an email and thought this response would be helpful to others on this forum:

Unfortunately, the CODAP project does not offer workshops for teachers who wish to make use of the software. CODAP is being used by a growing number of STEM curriculum development projects. We anticipate that as these projects mature they will begin to offer workshops and other forms of professional development directly to teachers.

In the meantime, two suggestions:

Finally, one option a teacher or student might use if working with their own data set would be to:

1. Open CODAP and start a new document.
2. Drag in a CSV file (comma separated data in a text file), putting it on the CODAP document.
3. Then set up the document in the way students should see it, and save it.
4. Then Share the document and provide the shared link to students who could then
