<p style=”color: #000000; font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif, serif, EmojiFont; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;”>When I tried this using the “Display Web Page” feature from the Options menu, the URL did not seem to load (see attached screenshot). When I tried other URLs, they did not work either. Is there something I am missing here? Or is there any other way to embed a video (either by URL or via a local file) into a CODAP document?</p>

    Hi Colin,

Many web sited, including google and youtube do not allow themselves to be embedded in an iFrame. Try https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cats_(musical)
or concord.org to see that some URLs work.

Has anyone subsequently figured out a work around for this? Would really be nice to be able to embed a video in CODAP.

If you have your own video file, then it can be uploaded to a server and then imported to codap. Here is an example: https://codap.concord.org/releases/latest/static/dg/en/cert/index.html#shared=https%3A%2F%2Fcfm-shared.concord.org%2FVc6rGDdQTqx8dFMyy4GE%2Ffile.json

Nice, so if the video is in some place other than Google Drive or YouTube, it can work?

It is also possible to embed YouTube videos. In YouTube’s Share tab, select just the portion that is the URL for embedding as shown in the screen capture.
