    Hi guys,

I am trying to recreate this activity but I am getting an upside down periodic table. how did you define the Y axis values so that the  ‘1’ is the uppermost number and ‘8’ is the lower number?

    Many thanks

    Hello Itai,

The CODAP file couldn’t be uploaded with your post. Could you create a shared link for it instead?

It might be that the solution to the problem is simply to drag the table rows into the desired order once you have specified that the rows are to be treated categorically.

Yes, what Bill suggests will fix it. For values that are considered “categorical” which in this case row number is plotted that way, you can drag the categories to be in whatever order you like. So, you can drag the row numbers to reorder them. It’s been on my list for a long time to update the example dataset doc we publicly provide. Maybe it’s time I move that up in priority. 🙂
