Question about dates

I know how to use the CODAP date format when I have a month, date and year.  Is there also a date format for just month and year?  We have data that spans a month (number of dead wildebeest in a month, if you must know!) and would like to have the data indexed by month, rather than by day.  I currently am using the first day of the month as the date value, but this is somewhat misleading.

Hi Andee, there is currently no month date type, unfortunately. The approach you are using is the best practice currently available. We do understand it is less than ideal.

Hi Andee,

There is a way to change the display in the case table or card however. Bring up Attribute Properties, change the type to date and then set the precision to what you want, in this case month.
